Overlord
オーバーロード

Momonga stays inside his favourite online game as its service ends, only to find that he cannot log out. Still wearing his skeletal avatar, he now commands a fortress whose non-player characters have acquired lives of their own. The former player must work out what his authority means in an unfamiliar world.
His followers already recognise him as ruler of Nazarick, leaving him with responsibility before he understands the new situation. That reverses the usual novice-adventurer start: he has power and subordinates, but lacks reliable information about the world outside. The gap between authority and knowledge shapes his first steps.

Outside Nazarick, he and the attendant Narberal take adventurer names and join a guild to obtain money and information. Their new registration starts at its lowest rank. Authority that is absolute at home does not supply a recognised position elsewhere, forcing the ruler to learn how the surrounding society judges newcomers.
