A girl whose extraordinary luck comes at other people’s expense faces a poverty god determined to take it away and restore the balance.
Ichiko has little interest in surrendering a comfortable life. Momiji’s mission therefore becomes a battle between a human who enjoys her advantage and an authority who considers it a problem. Bringing that struggle into Ichiko’s school makes friends, rivals and daily routines part of the interference.

The flower-backed school portrait shows Ichiko’s charming public appearance. The paired artwork places her beside Momiji and a conspicuously bandaged arm. Their proximity gives the supernatural dispute an intimate scale: the person sent to change Ichiko’s life is continually beside her.
