A feared school delinquent becomes the unwilling guardian of a demon lord’s baby, turning his daily fights into a very unusual childcare problem.

Oga’s strength makes him attractive to Baby Beel, whose cries can deliver dangerous electric shocks. Trying to hand the responsibility to another tough fighter keeps bringing Oga back into the same schoolyard world. Caring for the child and escaping him become entangled with the reputation Oga already has.

The baby’s pacifier and oversized ceremonial clothing make authority look absurdly small. The quarrelling students provide the rougher everyday setting in which that responsibility lands. The joke depends on putting someone accustomed to settling matters with force beside a dependent he cannot simply intimidate.
