Three sisters descended from Galileo are attacked over a mysterious inheritance and become international fugitives, despite knowing little about what their pursuers want.
Hozuki, Kazuki and Hazuki face the emergency with sharply different temperaments. Their ancestor’s legacy makes them a target in a near-future world entering an ice age, but a family connection does not automatically make them a united team. Finding a way forward requires understanding both the object of the pursuit and one another.
A shared ancestor gives the sisters the same danger without giving them the same response. Their different ages and temperaments make cooperation something they have to work out under pressure. The family connection is both why they are involved and the relationship the pursuit keeps testing.
