Laios returns to a dungeon to rescue his sister Falin after a dragon swallows her. With his party’s money and supplies lost, he proposes eating the monsters they encounter. The expedition turns survival into a question of what can be caught, prepared and shared on the way down.
Senshi insists that good meals require balanced nutrition, even underground. An early hunt for a basilisk provides eggs and meat, while Laios’s knowledge of monster behaviour helps the party fight it. Cooking consequently changes both how they provision the rescue and how they understand the dungeon’s inhabitants.
An encounter with Living Armour pushes the food question beyond familiar beasts and plants. The suits seem to be guarding something that may be edible, so the group’s curiosity changes how it approaches an apparent obstacle. Laios’s appetite for understanding monsters can offer resources while making his companions uneasy.
