The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime launched a season 3 illustration countdown on 26 September 2026, with its Japanese broadcast scheduled for October 2027.
The official campaign notice credits the first picture to character designer Keisuke Kojima. Frieren holds a spellbook while Fern and Stark look on; the book’s joke is a spell to make season 3 air in one year. The announcement promises further contributions from the anime’s staff.
October 2027 was announced in March
The illustration campaign follows the 27 March season 3 announcement, which already gave October 2027 on Nippon TV. That earlier page includes later-story characters and arc details. September’s update begins the artwork campaign rather than announcing a new premiere month.
Neither notice supplies an exact premiere day, a final episode count or an international streaming timetable. For the released television story, start with our Frieren introduction, covering seasons 1 and 2.
