The Charisma TV anime will begin on 7 January 2027, airing on Thursdays at 23:56 JST across 28 TBS-network stations in Japan. The official site announced the date on 1 November, at the project’s fifth-anniversary event in Tokyo. Until now, the official word was only January 2027.

The official site calls the new teaser the first release of footage from the series.

Seven men share a house and call it charisma

Charisma comes from Dazed and EVIL LINE RECORDS, the label behind Hypnosis Mic. It began in 2021 as a project of music releases and concerts. Its seven leads each embody a form of “charisma” and live together in the Charisma House, building it up in the hope of reaching true charisma. The official introduction plays this straight, then admits that ordinary people probably won’t follow it.

Series writer Shu Matsubara also created the original story, and Joji Furuta directs at PIERROT FILMS, the studio also named on the Yona of the Dawn sequel. Shinnosuke Tachibana and Tomohiro Ohno join the seven voice actors already named, as a doctor who follows the group and the doctor’s assistant.

A short anime and an early screening come first

A separate short anime starts on 4 November, on Wednesdays at 23:56 JST inside the TBS programme Yoru no Brunch. On 6 December, an advance screening in Ikebukuro, Tokyo will show the first two episodes with a stage appearance.

The site lists TV broadcasts only so far. It names no streaming service and no release outside Japan.
