Black Clover 2nd Season began in Japan on 3 October 2026, in the TV Tokyo network’s Saturday 23:00 JST slot.
The Japanese timetable
The official on-air page lists separate television and streaming starts:
- TV Tokyo network: Saturdays at 23:00 JST, from 3 October.
- BS TV Tokyo: Wednesdays at 24:00, from 7 October. That means midnight at the start of Thursday, 8 October, for the first broadcast.
- Early streaming group: from noon on 4 October, including Anime Times, Lemino, U-NEXT and Anime Hodai.
- Wider streaming distribution: from noon on 8 October. Individual services may differ; the Niconico live listing gives Thursdays at 23:30.
These are different distribution schedules, not competing dates for one premiere. For release times, subtitles and dubbing outside Japan, check the continuation’s listing on your local service.
Where to pick up the story
This is the continuation after the original 170 television episodes. Older services may also use “season 2” for a portion of that original run, so look for the full Black Clover 2nd Season title and its 2026 release information.
New viewers should begin with episode 1 of the 2017 series. Our Black Clover watch guide explains the original route and the optional film.
