Wolf’s Rain
WOLF’S RAIN
Wolves are believed extinct, but some survive by deceiving human eyes and appearing as people. Kiba searches for a place called Paradise. His encounter with the isolated Tsume and the adaptable Hige brings different ways of surviving into a shared journey.
Before they travel together, the wolves already occupy different positions in a hostile city: Tsume leads young thieves, while Hige moves more comfortably through urban life. Their common species does not erase those differences. The complete anime includes four episodes released outside the television broadcast, carrying the story beyond episode twenty-six.
The wolves' human appearance is also a means of moving through a world where rifles can be raised against them. In the confrontation, a white wolf lunges at an armed man with its body fully exposed. Kiba's search for Paradise is inseparable from the need to survive the human city around him.
