Yuji Itadori swallows a cursed finger to save fellow students and becomes the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna. Sent to Tokyo Jujutsu High, he learns to fight curses born from human emotions. The dangerous force he has taken into himself is also why the jujutsu world considers him a threat.
Yuji enters this hidden world through an urgent rescue, rather than an ambition to become a sorcerer. Megumi arrives to recover the cursed object, but Yuji’s school friends have already opened its seal. The opening links his exceptional physical ability to a choice that ordinary strength cannot undo.
Gojo offers Yuji a grim choice: face execution immediately, or gather and consume all twenty of Sukuna’s fingers before it happens. School admission does not erase that sentence. It gives his new working life a task and an endpoint, complicating the familiar promise that training will lead to a secure place in the world.
