Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill
とんでもスキルで異世界放浪メシ
An office worker summoned to a fantasy kingdom discovers that his unusual talent is ordering groceries from Japan. Mukohda would rather cook than fight, but his meals attract Fel, a legendary wolf-like creature. Their journey mixes hunting work, familiar seasonings and the demands of a very large appetite.
Fel can bring back creatures that are far beyond the nervous cook’s own fighting ability. Mukohda still has to turn that haul into something useful: he registers with both merchant and adventurer guilds, and makes meals with imported ingredients and local meat. Their arrangement gives each a different job. The imposing creature wants dinner, while the person doing the cooking needs protection and a way to support their travels.
Sui arrives as a small, newly born slime drawn to a meal. Mukohda’s gentleness gives the travelling group another kind of relationship beside his arguments with Fel. In the early scene shown here, his hands cradle the translucent creature and pat its head. The care is visible without a battle or a new ability: the cook has found someone to feed and fuss over.
