MURCIÉLAGO has revealed a new teaser trailer, promotional visual and three main cast members ahead of its scheduled January 2027 Japanese premiere. The anime’s official website lists the announcements under 21 October 2026.

The cast announcement names Hitomi Ueda as Kuroko Koumori, Minori Suzuki as Hinako Tozakura and Sumire Uesaka as Chiyo Yanaoka.

Based on Yoshimurakana’s manga, the story follows Kuroko, a former death-row prisoner whom the state employs to hunt dangerous criminals. Hinako is both her partner and minder, bringing exceptional driving skills to their work. Chiyo, Kuroko’s girlfriend and the daughter of a yakuza boss, completes the trio introduced in this reveal.

The new visual brings their contrasting roles together: Kuroko aims a handgun, Chiyo carries a sword and Hinako pedals a bicycle. It pairs armed action with a more comic portrait of Hinako, whose appetite and driving ability feature in her official character description.

The January window was announced in August. These latest materials introduce the cast and show more of the adaptation; they do not add an exact premiere day.

The series’ premise involves violent crime, and the cast comments describe bloody violence and sexual material. Watch the official teaser from NBCUniversal Anime/Music on YouTube.
