An enormous machine called the Big Gete Star threatens New Namek. Goku and his companions travel there to help, only to encounter Cooler again, now in a metal body. Their return to the Namekians’ world becomes a fight against an enemy who has also acquired a new means of survival.
The premise follows Cooler’s earlier film appearance rather than introducing him for the first time. The machine and the metal body also change the nature of the threat: defeating a familiar opponent is no longer simply a matter of recognizing him. This profile covers the 1992 film alone, rather than a television arc or the earlier Cooler’s Revenge.
The licensed image shows Metal Cooler holding Super Saiyan Goku by the neck. That encounter makes the returning villain’s physical change concrete, alongside the much larger machine threatening New Namek. The film’s short running time concentrates this rematch into a separate adventure; familiarity with the characters helps, but its minutes are not an estimate for the surrounding series.
