Eri Yukimura will voice Tesfia Fable in The Greatest Magicmaster’s Retirement Plan. The 28 October announcement also reveals the character’s dedicated visual, showing her wielding a sword-shaped magical weapon.
Tesfia comes from the noble Fable family and specialises in ice magic. A strong first-year student at the academy, she trains under Alus alongside her friend Alice. Her pride and competitive streak sit alongside a concern for her friends, according to the official character introduction.
Yukimura joins Yuto Uemura as Alus Reigin and Yui Ogura as Loki Leevahl. The story follows Alus, a sixteen-year-old military prodigy whose request to retire leads to a different assignment: attending a magic academy under a concealed identity and training younger magicians.
The adaptation is being made at HOTLINE, with Yusuke Suzuki directing. It remains planned for 2027 on the CBC/TBS network’s Agaru Anime block in Japan. That year was announced in June; this update adds Tesfia’s actor and visual, rather than a new premiere date. An exact start date and international streaming plans are still to come.
