Asuna listens to a radio left by her late father and hears a song that leads her towards a mysterious boy. Her search takes her into Agartha, a hidden world associated with bringing back the dead. Hostile people and creatures stand between the visitors and the knowledge they seek.
The journey begins with listening, not with a planned expedition. Asuna’s attachment to the radio gives the unfamiliar song a place in her ordinary life before the fantasy opens out. The possibility of recovering someone lost then makes the destination more than a place to explore.

A hillside meeting places two figures beneath an enormous evening sky, with the town small in the valley below. The landscape gives their encounter room to feel private without removing the ordinary world altogether. Before the journey goes underground, distance and unfamiliar company are already part of Asuna’s surroundings.
