Cat Soup

A young cat follows the figure taking away his ill sister, beginning a strange journey to recover what has been lost from her soul.

Nyatta’s attempt to bring Nyako back leaves her alive but without her former vitality. The resulting search gives an abstract, shifting world a simple emotional direction: one sibling is trying to restore the other. This is a short film commitment whose fantasy grows from a family relationship rather than a lengthy series of rules to learn.

The two cat figures and the flower recur in different poses against the mechanical background. Their small, simple forms sit inside an environment that does not explain itself through ordinary domestic detail. That contrast suits a quest in which recognisable sibling attachment carries the reader into something stranger, with visual uncertainty doing part of the work.
