Five students marked by different kinds of misfortune enter a class whose unusual curriculum is supposed to help them become happy.
Hibari meets the remarkably unlucky Hanako and other classmates with their own difficulties. Their school turns an abstract pursuit of happiness into increasingly eccentric assignments.

The class does not gather students around a shared hobby or academic ambition. It gathers problems, then asks the pupils to navigate them together under a teacher's unconventional plans. Their different responses to bad luck give the comedy more than one recurring pattern. Consider it for an exaggerated school comedy about an unlucky group finding company.
