An ordinary working woman is arrested after a misunderstanding in the neon city of Kansai. A group of notorious criminals attacks the police station for a rescue job, pulling her into their plans. Surviving among specialists is difficult when everyone assumes she is another criminal.
The group’s useful skills do not make its members trustworthy. A driver who takes pride in every delivery and a hacker drawn to difficult systems have different reasons for accepting work. Explosive collars turn their next mission into coercion, while a police unit dedicated to eliminating Akudama closes in.

Courier takes pride in completing a delivery, while the ordinary woman depends on being mistaken for somebody with a specialist role. Their unequal starting points make the same job mean different things. Professional confidence may help the group keep moving, but it does not give the newcomer the experience or appetite for danger that the others assume she has.
