An eager new maid arrives at an Akihabara café whose competition runs on the violent loyalties and reprisals of a gangland drama.
Nagomi expects cute uniforms and cheerful service at the Oinky Doink café. Her fellow newcomer Ranko brings a much harder understanding of the business. The contrast between customer-facing sweetness and coercive workplace loyalty supplies the series' deliberately bloody comic premise.

The café does not stop being a workplace when it becomes a battleground. A newcomer still has to learn procedures, understand seniority and decide whether the promises made by management deserve trust. Here those familiar pressures are inflated into gangland obligations with lethal consequences. The crowded maid artwork establishes the collective image Nagomi hoped to join; her uncertain first-episode face leaves room for the gap between expectation and employment. The series contains graphic violence despite its cute service setting. Follow the twelve television episodes from her arrival, without using later plot summaries to explain away the opening's change of tone.
