Police investigating violent incidents involving artificial workers encounter cases that make the boundary between a human body and a manufactured one increasingly difficult to hold.

Leon and Gina’s cases begin with threats in the city, but the technology is also inside the people trying to police it. A killer service robot, subway murders and an officer living through a cybernetic body give the three episodes different points of pressure. Adult crime and bodily transformation define this short OVA’s scope.

The cases also involve people who study, repair or alter artificial bodies. That work gives the crime stories another kind of authority to question: a body can be restored as a machine without settling what the person living through it has lost. Nudity and violence accompany the series’ adult situations.
